A number of major initiatives have been undertaken during this quarter. These include: (a) introduction of a separate tariff structure for battery swapping stations, aiming to foster investments in electric vehicle infrastructure; (b) Initiating the LNG import from international markets; (c) Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has made multiple price adjustments for liquefied natural gas (LPG) cylinders; and (d) construction and progress of multiple solar power projects.
